Too many stories and ink is too expensive

This side table is an ongoing development into a growing collection of furniture based on my Cut + Stick process.

This process consists of collecting a variety of unwanted timber offcuts, then slowly, meticulously and intuitively cutting and sticking the pieces together to form a larger material with a distinctive patchwork aesthetic.

Cut + Stick looks to celebrate the beauty and unique nature of different timbers as a collective - whilst also providing a commentary on the need for biodiversity in the woodlands that these trees once came from.
