‘Gwymon III’ Print Indigo

‘Gwymon’ is a Welsh translation for seaweed. The design motif had been developed through a series of seaweed drawings; inspired by the natural, rich forms found along the shore/coastlines of my home in North Wales. The aged quality of the piece with the exposed, raw, frayed edges emphasise the imperfect, untouched quality of the natural forms of seaweed.

About the Designer

Zoe’s artistic practice has evolved from a fast pace lifestyle of working as a designer in London to returning back to the tranquility of her home on the Llŷn Peninsula. A lifelong passion for drawing, ignited at age two, continues to drive her creative journey where she now works as an independent artist and textile printmaker from her studio in Abersoch, North Wales.
